Our New Custom Gowalla Stamp

Yesterday was a great day for many reasons (aren't they all?), one of which was finding out our custom Gowalla stamp was ready.  So I couldn't wait to show you.  Let me know what you think.

 

We bought this stamp from Gowalla during one of their limited time only sales.  They offer 100 custom stamps from time to time and they make their announcement of the sale on their website and Twitter.  That's how we found out about it.  They will even give you a heads up via email.  They also send you a pair of 5x7 vinyl stickers for your doors (we haven't got these yet).

Routes Running, But Expect Some Delays Due To Icy /Hazardous Road Conditions

United Linen Closed Wednesday, Feb 9th, 2011

United Linen & Uniform Services will be closed on Wednesday Feb 9th due to the snowfall over the last 12 hours.

No United Linen routes will be running in our service area of Oklahoma, SE Kansas, SW Missouri, and NW Arkansas on Wednesday.  However we are anticipating routes being able to run on Thursday, Feb 10th. 

We will update this blog and our website with up to the minute information as it becomes available.  We will also relay info via Twitter and Facebook.

Once again, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we dig out from under the snow.  With Safety as our number one priority, we have a game plan in place and are making our way to our customers as fast as possible.

Deliveries Being Made On Saturday

Typically we don't run our routes on Saturdays, but as you know, with all the snow we've had this last week, we've found it necessary to continue running on Saturday in order to catch up.  This means that today you should see our trucks out and about in Tulsa, Bartlesville, Fayetteville, OKlahoma City, Edmond, Norman...you name it,

So if you see one of our guys driving around, give them a smile and a wave.  They have been working long and hard in rough conditions.

Digging Out!

We are digging out and can't wait to get back to see you, our customer.  So far it looks like we will be out and about tomorrow, sticking to snow routes and moving c a r e f u l l y.  Safety is numero uno!

This morning we have been calling, Tweeting, smoke signals...whatever we need to do to get in contact with you regarding your needs and devising delivery plans.  We are still having a hard time getting in touch with folks because a lot of businesses are still closed due to the tremendous amount of snowfall we received this week.  If you haven't heard from us, you can still check back here where we will keep updating you with info as it becomes available.

Right now I can tell you that we will be running on Saturday to help get caught up.  Deliveries that were supposed to be made today will be spread out over the next several days including Saturday.

As soon as our delivery plans some into play, we will let you know.

United Linen Closed on Wednesday, Feb 2nd

For the second straight day in a row (history-making) United Linen & Uniform Services will be closed on Wednesday Feb 2nd due to the record-breaking snowfall over the last 24 hrs.

No United Linen routes will be running in our service area of Oklahoma, SE Kansas, SW Missouri, and NW Arkansas on Wednesday.  However we are anticipating routes being able to run on Thursday, Feb 3rd. 

We will use all the communications channels available to us to let you know of updates to the revised route delivery schedules as soon as they become available. 

This is an unprecidented time for us and we know all of you are dealing with the same weather-limiting situations that we are.  We appreciate your patience and understanding as we deal with this crazy weather.  With Safety as our number one priority, we are working hard to assess the situation and come up with a game plan to reach our customers as fast as possible.

All Routes Rescheduled Due To Blizzard

Because of the winter storm in our service area (Oklahoma, SE Kansas, SW Missouri, NW Arkansas) on Tuesday, Feb 1st, all routes will not run.  However we are anticipating routes being able to run on Wednesday, Feb 2nd.
