Documentary film-maker, Tan Siok Siok (Twitter handle @sioksiok) is producing a documentary (referred to as a Twittamentary) about Twitter and the people/businesses that use this fast-growing social media tool. She most recently interviewed Shel Israel (@shelIsrael) about how he used crowdsourcing as a technique for collecting stories for his book, TWITTERVILLE.
So what does this have to do with United Linen you ask? Not much other than Shel mentions how United Linen uses Twitter in his interview, which I thought was pretty cool. It was great hearing this well-known author talk about United Linen as an example of a small business using Twitter to reach out to customers.
